Il Comune di Milano e la Sea, società aeroportuale di Milano di Linate e Malpensa, collaboreranno per creare i primi taxi volanti.
I veivoli si sposteranno tra i quattro vertiporti cittadini di Linate, Malpensa, Citylife e Porta Romana, al servizio di milanesi e turisti. Dopo la fase di sperimentazione, il periodo di assestamento prevederà non solo la discesa dei prezzi a circa 70-80 euro ma anche taxi volanti in grado di trasportare dai 4 ai 6 passeggeri a viaggio, per circa 30-60 chilometri.
Sea lavora al progetto “in termini di ricerca e sviluppo” già da due anni 2 anni. “Ora terminata la fase di questi primi studi dobbiamo iniziare a creare le condizioni in modo che quando i velivoli saranno pronti e certificati possiamo accoglierli e farli volare. Nella timeline, l’obiettivo è arrivare ai primi vertiporti tra il 2023 e il 2024, comprendendo la progettazione, la realizzazione e i test, per essere poi pronti nel 2026”, ha detto il numero uno della società.
“Il prezzo lo farà l’operatore del servizio non Sea, ma da una analisi il prezzo iniziale potrebbe essere circa 120 euro a persona, grosso modo quello che si paga con il Ncc” – ha concluso l’AD di Sea. Inoltre “si sta lavorando anche a minivan per 6-8 passeggeri e i maxi droni potranno arrivare, a tendere, a coprire anche 200-250 km rispetto ai 50-60 km” dei primi velivoli.
