Ann Demeulemeester opens its first Italian flagship store in the heart of Milan's luxury district. The fashion house, founded in 1985 by the eponymous designer and part of the group since 2020 Antonioli Group, will officially open the new space on February 26th, in the middle of fashion week, at number 22 of via Montenapoleone.
The boutique is spread over approximately 160 square meters on two levels and was designed by the architectural studio StorageMilan, who had already collaborated with the brand for the shop-in-shop inside the Antonioli concept store on Via Paoli.
The shop takes shape within a hidden courtyard, reached by crossing a 17th-century building expanded in the 19th century. The spaces, once home to an artisan workshop and later converted into a nursery, are now protected by cultural heritage. The building's historic atmosphere resonates with the aesthetic vision introduced by the creative director. Stefano Gallici, leading the brand from 2023.
The Milan opening is accompanied by the launch of the first visual campaign conceived under Gallici's direction, presented a few days before the inauguration. This is a symbolic step for a fashion house traditionally distant from advertising, which now chooses to expand its presence while maintaining its expressive identity.
The shots, signed by the photographer Nikolai von Bismarck with creative direction by Elodie David, were created in the monumental Villa Manin, an eighteenth-century residence located near the designer's hometown. The setting reflects the atmosphere of the spring/summer 2026 collection, presented on the runway and ready to return to the spotlight with the next Paris show on March 7th.
With the opening of the Milan flagship—which joins the Antwerp store—the brand marks a new chapter in its evolution, consolidating its retail presence and expanding its visual narrative on an international scale.
