Paris is preparing to host the 9 to 11 February 2026 the key event for the world of wine: Wine Paris, an international fair dedicated to industry professionals and world-class winemaking excellence, scheduled at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. At this important event, the Consortium of Brunello di Montalcino wine comes with a rapidly growing participation: 77 companies between direct and collective exhibitors, with an exhibition space of over 500 square meters and a wine bar dedicated to tasting 104 labels including Brunello 2021, Brunello Riserva 2020 and Rosso di Montalcino 2024, as well as the other denominations Moscadello and Sant'Antimo.
The initiative marks the second consecutive year Brunello's presence at Wine Paris, with a 71% increase in participating companies compared to the 2025 edition, a sign of the event's growing appeal as an international promotional platform.
According to the president of the Consortium, Giacomo Bartolommei, the Parisian participation is not only an opportunity for visibility: it is a strategic moment for expand outlet markets and strengthen trade relations in a global context marked by declining consumption and geopolitical tensions impacting the entire wine sector. The Wine Paris program includes presentations of the appellation, B2B meetings, and tastings for buyers, the press, and wine professionals.
This Parisian experience opens the first part of a intense international promotion calendar for Brunello di Montalcino: we will continue with Welcome Brunello in New York the 24 February, then with masterclasses in Texas in the first days of March, followed by participation in ProWein in Düsseldorf in mid-March and the great showcase of Vinitaly in Verona from 12 to 15 April.
The decision to invest in global trade fairs reflects the Consortium's desire to maintain high competitiveness in key markets and enhance the identity of one of Italy's most prestigious appellations, capable of combining tradition, quality, and innovation while remaining deeply rooted in the Montalcino region.
