In one of the main European capitals of culture and lifestyle, Lisbon is preparing to host the first luxury residential project designed by the Karl Lagerfeld brand., which debuts in the Portuguese real estate sector with the Karl Lagerfeld Residences Lisbon, an initiative developed in partnership with the Portuguese real estate developer Overseas.
The complex will be built in Rua Braamcamp 48–50, a few steps from the elegant Avenida da Liberdade, one of the most prestigious and cosmopolitan areas of the city. The project includes 10 exclusive apartments spread over 11 floors, with surfaces starting from approximately 234 m², designed for an international audience with refined tastes and eager to combine comfort, design and superior services.
The architecture of the building is inspired by the formal rigor of the Bauhaus, with a sculptural V-shaped facade and a visual language based on gradated vertical lines rising towards the sky — a tribute to the minimalist, architectural aesthetic that has characterized much of the designer's creative work.
The interiors and common areas are designed to embody the essence of the brand: high-quality materials, meticulous finishes, and advanced home automation technologies will be combined with a refined design, reflecting the Maison's stylistic universe. Residents will benefit from dedicated services, including Concierge, private parking, wellness center with sauna, Turkish bath, swimming pools, treatment room and gym.
According to the promoters, these residences – whose delivery is scheduled for the 2028 with work starting estimated in second half of the 2026 — represent not only a new prestigious address, but also a higher standard in the segment of branded residences, a rapidly growing phenomenon in Portugal and the rest of Europe, where projects of this type are rapidly gaining the interest of investors and luxury buyers.
Karl Lagerfeld's involvement in the world of high-end living is not an isolated case: the Maison has already launched other real estate and hotel projects in several international cities, strengthening its presence in the lifestyle sector beyond fashion.
In short, the Karl Lagerfeld Residences Lisboa are proposed as a new symbol of urban luxury in Lisbon, fusing the aesthetic legacy of one of the most iconic names in design with the appeal of a city growing as a cultural and international hub.
