December 2, 2025, marks a new milestone for the Veneto-based Masi Agricola group's experiential wine philosophy: a new .com was inaugurated at Verona Valerio Catullo Airport. The initiative—the result of a collaboration with Lagardère Travel Retail Italia—introduces a format to the airport network that combines elegance, conviviality, and local identity, designed to offer travelers a quality moment before departure.
The venue is located in the area accessible after security checks, near the boarding gates: a space that makes an ideal stop for those leaving the area—perhaps after a visit to Masi's historic locations between Valpolicella and Lake Garda—with a last-minute toast, the opportunity to purchase duty-free bottles, or simply a refined stop before take-off.
Identity, territory, and "wine first": Masi's formula at the airport
The concept of the Masi Wine Bar & Restaurant is deeply rooted in the philosophy of the Masi Wine Experience: wine—in all its facets—is the undisputed protagonist, accompanied by refined cuisine that blends Venetian tradition with international influences. The menu features Venetian cicchetti, local dishes, cocktails, and aperitifs featuring Masi wines, as well as more refined options for those seeking a complete meal.
The space, with its contemporary and welcoming design, is designed to enhance the traveler's experience: an opportunity to recount, in just a few minutes, the history, culture, and excellence of Veronese wine before a trip.
A piece in an international mosaic of wine destinations
The opening at Verona Airport is not an isolated event: the Masi Wine Experience network already includes several stops in Italy and abroad—from historic cellars in Valpolicella to estates on Lake Garda, to wine bars in the Dolomites, in Munich, and even in Argentina.
In recent years, with the launch of projects such as the experiential center—a sort of "house of wine" open to the public for tastings, tours, and local culture—Masi has increasingly focused on a model that combines quality, identity, and hospitality.
With this new opening, Masi and Lagardère are relaunching the idea that travel isn't just a journey, but an experience to be cherished: a glass of wine, a bite to eat, and perhaps a souvenir to take home.
