The common thread linking territory, culture, and a passion for wine runs through two exceptional events hosted by Cantina Barbera dei Sei Castelli. The historic winery in Castelnuovo Calcea, a symbol of authenticity and innovation in the heart of Monferrato, will first feature an immersive theatrical evening and then one of the most prestigious stages in the national food and wine scene.
On October 31st, the Il Risveglio del Ceppo Wine Tourism Center will host "Aperivino in Teatro," a sensory experience combining tasting and performance. In the center's evocative theater, the winery's wines will be paired with traditional local platters and the giant puppet show "The Witches Are Back" by the MuBuM company: a story of magic and freedom that transforms Halloween into a ritual of sharing and wonder.
With the witches' night behind us, Cantina Barbera dei Sei Castelli will be flying to Golosaria Milano, from November 1st to 3rd at Fiera Milano – Rho, to receive the prestigious "Top Hundred di Golosaria" award, conceived by Paolo Massobrio and Marco Gatti. Each year, the award celebrates the 100 best Italian wineries, highlighting the excellences that best represent the country's winemaking identity.
This achievement seals years of research and dedication, confirming the winery as an ambassador for Barbera d'Asti and quality wine tourism. During the three-day event in Milan, at Pavilion 1 – Stand W068, visitors will be able to discover and taste the new "Il Risveglio del Ceppo" line, the result of a journey that intertwines local tradition, sustainability, and the art of good living.
With these two events, Cantina Barbera dei Sei Castelli reaffirms its style: an authentic elegance, capable of combining the strength of tradition with the contemporary allure of wine as a cultural experience.
