On the occasion of the Milan Art Week 2025, the city is once again transformed into a crossroads of artistic languages, innovation and culture. Among the protagonists of this edition, the collaboration between the French-Swiss artist stands out Julian Charriere e Ruinart House, historic French champagne house and official partner of Miart for the twelfth consecutive year.
For the first time in Italy, the artist's works are presented as part of the project “Conversations with Nature 2025”, a series that explores the relationship between humans and the natural environment, through a powerful and deeply contemporary visual reflection.
An alliance between art and sustainability
The collaboration between Charrière and Maison Ruinart is part of a path consistent with the maison's commitment to sustainability and art as a vehicle for awareness. The artist, known for his installations that intertwine science, ecology and history, has developed a body of work that investigates landscapes transformed by human action, inviting the viewer to reflect on the environmental consequences of our choices.
Charrière visited the Ruinart vineyards in Reims, immersing himself in the natural rhythms and cycles that guide the production of champagne. This experience gave rise to an original work that blends organic materials, audiovisual elements and photography, transforming the wine-growing landscape into a theatre of poetic reflection on transformation, time and the human imprint on nature.
A message that crosses time
“Conversations with Nature” is not just an exhibition, but a declaration of intent. Maison Ruinart, always attentive to the environment and culture, entrusts art with the task of raising awareness and inspiring. Julian Charrière, with his profound and visionary poetics, manages to transform the artistic gesture into an act of responsibility.
The artist's presence in Milan therefore represented a unique opportunity for the Italian public to come into contact with one of the most important voices on the contemporary art scene, and to rediscover, through his gaze, the indissoluble bond between nature, culture and beauty.
