The dial, covered in immaculate white enamel, embodies the elegance sought by the master watchmaker who first conceived this concept. The absolute protagonist of the dial is the iconic Breguet hand, a masterpiece of craftsmanship in fire-blued steel. Open and with a tapered tip, it is entirely curved by hand, testifying to the meticulous attention to detail. Its precise dance unfolds on the famous Breguet Arabic numerals, delicately inclined, and on the traditional circular “chemin de fer”. The latter, with its specific graphic segmentation, marks not only the hours but also the 5, 10, 15 and 30-minute indications. The hour markers and indicators, crafted in black “petit feu” enamel, blend into a single dark shade with the Breguet signature, elegantly placed at 12 o’clock.
Turning your gaze, the case back, adorned with a large, slightly domed sapphire crystal, reveals the beating heart of this timepiece: the new VS00 caliber in gilded brass, a shade reminiscent of the precious “Breguet gold”. Further enriching the aesthetics of the movement is a new guilloché motif called “Quai de l'Horloge”, presented this year as an exclusive decoration.
The fruit of a long and meticulous development process, this mechanical movement beats at a frequency of 3 Hz (21.600 vibrations per hour), ensuring a remarkable power reserve of no less than four days, powered by a single barrel. A technical highlight is the NivachronTM hairspring, made of a non-magnetic titanium-based alloy, blued and finished with the characteristic Breguet overcoil. This innovative hairspring gives the movement greater resistance to temperature variations, magnetic fields and shocks, ensuring superior precision and reliability.
