An event with a strong symbolic and historical value: Luisa Spagnoli, a famous Italian fashion brand, has announced the opening of a new location inside the historic Perugina factory in San Sisto, Perugia. A return that is not only geographical, but also emotional, cultural and entrepreneurial.
Luisa Spagnoli, founder of both the eponymous fashion house and the Perugina company in the early twentieth century, ideally returns to unite her two great passions in one place. The new headquarters will host executive offices, exhibition spaces and a gallery dedicated to the history of the entrepreneur, a symbol of female emancipation and Italian creativity.
“This opening represents a bridge between the past and the future,” said Nicoletta Spagnoli, great-granddaughter of the founder and current president and CEO of the company. “We wanted to pay homage to Luisa’s innovative vision, bringing back to life a place that is symbolic for our family and for the city.”
The initiative was enthusiastically welcomed by local institutions and citizens, who see the project as an opportunity to relaunch and enhance the city's historic industrial area. The project, developed in collaboration with Nestlé, the current owner of Perugina, also includes the creation of common spaces for cultural and educational events.
The new headquarters aims to be a driving force of ideas and style, where tradition and innovation merge. It will also be a point of reference for training in the field of fashion and design, with workshops and initiatives open to the public and schools.
Luisa Spagnoli's return to Perugina therefore represents much more than a corporate expansion: it is a tribute to the memory of a woman who has marked the entrepreneurial history of the country, and it is a strong signal for the future of Made in Italy.
