Jean-Christophe Babin, currently CEO of Bulgari, has been appointed CEO of LVMH’s Watches division, effective April 1, 2025. Babin succeeds Frédéric Arnault, recently appointed to lead Loro Piana.
In his new role, Babin will oversee prestigious brands such as Hublot, TAG Heuer and Zenith, reporting directly to Stéphane Bianchi, Group Managing Director of LVMH. Babin will also retain his position as CEO of Bulgari, a position he has held since 2013.
Babin’s appointment comes at a time of slowing demand in the watch industry, with sales down 2% over the past year. His experience will be key to addressing these challenges and driving sustainable growth for the division.
Stéphane Bianchi expressed his confidence in Babin's leadership, underlining his entrepreneurial spirit and his extraordinary managerial qualities, already demonstrated during his leadership of Bulgari.
