The 75th edition of the Sanremo Italian Song Festival has officially begun, an event that also marks the start of a real “Sanremo Fashion Week”. After revealing the stylists who will accompany the participants over the five evenings, the time has come for fans to discover the fashion brands that have helped the artists shine on the Ariston stage. This edition, which kicked off after a successful five-year period under the guidance of Amadeus, was inaugurated by Carlo Conti, who brought with him a sober but indisputable refinement. With a “The accounts add up and I’m back in Sanremo”, the Florentine host kicked off the 2025 Festival, reconfirming his role in this event that remains one of the most followed in the country.
Sanremo is not just music, but also fashion, and the singers have given life to a real stylistic clash, between sequins, transparencies and minimal lines. The opening night saw an impeccable Carlo Conti in a midnight blue velvet tuxedo with black details, designed by Stefano Ricci. The competition started with Gaia Gozzi, who chose a dress by Dilara Findikoglu, accompanied by styling by Alba Melendo. The Italian-Brazilian singer's look included a nude-toned corset with filaments of fabric that fell on the shoulders, completed by showy jewelry and a natural beauty look by Lancôme, of which Gozzi is an ambassador.
Noemi chose a mermaid gown by Giambattista Valli Couture, a look that brought a touch of tradition to the Festival, enriched by Bulgari jewels. Giorgia, at her sixth participation, consolidated her relationship with the Festival and with Dior, showing off a see-through dress with a waist belt, created by the stylist Maria Grazia Chiuri. The evening was also enriched by the performance of Jovanotti, who thrilled the audience with a medley of his most famous hits, wearing an all-gold outfit.
The monologue moment saw the entrance of Gianmarco Tamberi, who revealed his participation in the Los Angeles Olympics, showing off an elegant Giorgio Armani suit. Irama opted for a black coat with raised applications by Balmain, while Rkomi chose a white suit in mixed wool and viscose twill from the Vivienne Westwood spring-summer 2025 collection. Tony Effe opted for a total white look by Gucci, combined with Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
Elodie, competing with the song “Dimenticarsi alle 7”, captured attention with a satin armor dress with a torchon neckline by Prada, while Francesca Michielin chose Miu Miu for her performance. Rose Villain enhanced her silhouette with a red dress by Fendi, one of the most sensual presences of the evening. Achille Lauro, returning to the Ariston with a dandy style, wore a tailored suit by Dolce & Gabbana, completed with Damiani jewelry.
Fedez, as always, chose Donatella Versace, wearing a black suit with crystals along the sleeves, while Simone Cristicchi received the first standing ovation of the evening thanks to a moving poem, showing off a hand-embroidered burgundy satin suit by Antonio Marras. Francesco Gabbani chose a Corneliani suit, while Olly brought a more casual look with a jeans-vest suit by Emporio Armani. Brunori Sas opted for an elegant look by Boglioli.
The musical groups contributed to liven up the evening. Shablo, Guè, Joshua and Tormento, together for the first time at the Festival, brought a look by Gcds, with a performance full of energy. The Kolors, instead, performed with a total black look by Pence 1979, while Rocco Hunt chose a classic style by Neil Barrett. Bresh opted for an Ami suit, with Apm Monaco jewels, while Willie Peyote chose a sober look with an Edithmarcel suit.
Closing out the evening, Coma Cose shone in Valentino, bringing their song “Cuoricini” to the stage, wearing clothes from Alessandro Michele’s Pavillon des folies collection. Young Clara wore a sparkling Roberto Cavalli dress, while Sarah Toscano chose a colorful look by Emilio Pucci, and Joan Thiele opted for a rock-chic style by Chanel.
