This is the first trade fair event of the promotional relay signed by the Tuscan organization that will then stop at Prowein (Düsseldorf, March 16-18) to finally arrive in Verona for Vinitaly (April 6-9). In the following months, strategic events in the territory are scheduled starting with Red Montalcino (June 20) and the 34th edition of Benvenuto Brunello (from November 20 to 24).

The Brunello di Montalcino Wine Consortium today brings together 219 members (representing 98,2% of production), for a protection that extends over a vineyard of over 4.400 hectares in the district of the Municipality of Montalcino (over 2 thousand hectares of Brunello, limited since 1997), in favor of four DOPs of the territory (Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, Moscadello and Sant'Antimo).
