The residences of the historic Torre Velasca, the subject of a major redevelopment project, will be managed by Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG), consolidating the presence of the international group in the hospitality sector within the iconic building.
The residential offering will be enriched by SHG’s lifestyle experience in Italy, which already includes the management of two restaurants inside the Tower: on the first floor, the renowned Sushisamba, and on the 18th floor, Mia, a new Italian restaurant with a breathtaking view of the city and the Duomo. Both are scheduled to open in the second half of 2025.
This project is part of a broader strategy aimed at making Torre Velasca a dynamic and accessible place, combining prestigious brands and creating exclusive experiences. SHG will introduce its lifestyle brand Mett for the first time in Italy, with Mett Suites & Residences, already present in cities such as Barcelona and Singapore, as well as in renowned seaside resorts such as Bodrum, Marbella and Sitges.
Mett’s new destination in Milan will occupy 72 suites and residences, spread across seven floors for a total of approximately 10.000 square meters. The spaces, restored respecting the original structure of the BBPR studio, will feature sophisticated design, modern comforts and spectacular views of the Milan skyline. The living solutions will be designed for both short and long-term stays.
The reception of Mett Suites & Residences will be located on the 17th floor, where SHG will also inaugurate an exclusive membership club. The offer will also include a wellness area of over 1.000 square meters, with a spa and gym in the basement. Milan thus confirms itself as one of the most attractive destinations in Europe, a point of reference for fashion, design and culture, perfectly in line with the refined and experiential lifestyle that the Mett brand proposes.
