M/Y Kasper 7, a 67-meter full custom superyacht designed by Benetti, won over the jury Design and Innovation Awards 2025 and, in the splendid setting of Kitzbuhel, in Austria, it was named winner in the categories Best Interior Design – Motor Yachts over 500GT and Best Naval Architecture – Displacement Motor Yachts, a testament to Benetti’s excellence in the design and construction of bespoke superyachts.
These prestigious awards, organized annually by BOAT International – one of the leading magazines for the yachting sector – recognize the best not only in terms of naval architecture and superyacht engineering, but above all in terms of style and innovation in design.
The jury awarded M/Y Kasper 7 as Best Naval Architecture – Displacement Motor Yachts, recognizing “her ability to perfectly combine technical precision and aesthetics. Her performance has shown exceptional hydrodynamic efficiency, the result of careful study in the sector”. The same attention to detail is found in the yacht’s interiors, which won recognition in the Best Interior Design – Motor Yachts over 500GT category. One jury member described the interiors as “as captivating as a true art gallery, enriched by an extraordinary selection of objets d’art”. The judges also appreciated the designer’s innovative choice to emphasize the shape of the dining room windows and to modify their shapes inside.
“Following the victory at the Wallpaper* Design Awards 2025, these awards represent a further important recognition of the collaboration with Benetti. M/Y Kasper 7 embodies our dream of creating a true home on the water, a result made possible thanks to the excellence of the shipyard's skills and the close synergy that has been created”, comments Nisrine Karagulla, interior designer and owner of M/Y Kasper 7.
“This double recognition fills us with pride because it underlines our excellence in the design and construction of highly customized yachts. Collaborating with the owner and turning her vision into reality was a great privilege for the entire Benetti team, made possible thanks to the know-how of our work team,” says Camilla Calza, Marketing Director of Benetti.
The M/Y Kasper 7 project was born at the request of a couple of owners who wanted to make it their home on the water, making use of the precious consultancy of Benetti together with the Cassetta Yacht Designers studio for the exterior concept, and the original and extraordinary touch of the owner Nisrine Karagulla, interior designer and owner of Ask Deco, an architecture and interior design studio based in Beirut, Lebanon.
On board this superyacht, guests are immediately captured by a sense of wonder in the Main Deck lounge: the width of the dimensions between the two bulwarks is over ten meters, while large windows contribute both to the general elegance of the architecture and to making the project even more fluid, which inside enjoys a natural light of great effect. With almost 2 meters in diameter, four circular windows give a spectacular effect, characterizing the external profile and filling the interior spaces with light, from the large main lounge to the cabins on the Lower Deck.
Aesthetically original, they convey a feeling of modernity and brightness to the eyes and give the yacht's design a distinctive trait. This element was strongly desired by the owner who wanted to insert a trait d'union between the interiors and the surrounding nature, framing the beauty of the panoramas crossed. The interiors of M/Y Kasper 7, designed by the owner, embody a perfect balance between luxury and comfort, inspired by the relaxed atmosphere of a summer house. The minimalist design, with attention to the smallest details, creates airy and welcoming spaces, where fine materials such as oak wood, cross-cut travertine and white perpero wood give elegance and warmth.
Throughout the spaces, there is space for furnishings and works of art made specifically for this vessel, helping to create a sophisticated atmosphere while maintaining an informal tone, while the lighting, designed to make the objects appear to be sources of light, gives an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere.
The spacious and functional cabins offer smart solutions for organization, such as adjustable shelves and a coherent aesthetic that reflects the elegance of the entire space. The uniform use of teak on the decks, floors and walls recalls the sinuous lines of a sailboat, emphasizing the connection between functionality and maritime style.
The hull of M/Y Kasper 7, designed by Benetti, has been optimized for cruising speed, allowing for better fuel efficiency. This superyacht reaches a top speed of 16 knots and, at the same time, a range that allows for long non-stop cruising.
M/Y Kasper 7 has obtained the SEA Index® 3-star certification, which evaluates a yacht's CO2 emissions. The SEA Index certification for M/Y Kasper 7 highlights the attention paid by her owners, crew and shipyard to responsible environmental management and marine sustainability. This classification is the result of a rigorous CO2 emissions certification process, independently verified by Lloyd's Register and provided by the Yacht Club de Monaco (YCM) to owners.
