Louis Vuitton will be the Title Partner of the first race of the season in Melbourne, which will be called FORMULA 1 LOUIS VUITTON AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2025. The French Maison will be fully involved in the races, with a prominent presence along the track, a first for Louis Vuitton at a sporting event. It will also play a key role in celebratory moments, such as the opening ceremony and the podium, where the famous Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunks will be presented to celebrate the results of the top three drivers. The new Trophy Trunks, covered in the distinctive Monogram, will be decorated with the iconic “V” in a unique local color scheme for each race, maintaining the classic brown background.
Louis Vuitton established an iconic link with Formula 1 when, between 2021 and 2024, it developed and presented the first Trophy Trunk in collaboration with the Automobile Club de Monaco for the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco™, a symbol of triumph that has subsequently been adopted in some of the world’s most prestigious sporting competitions, including football, sailing and the Olympics.
The partnership between Louis Vuitton and Formula 1 is a key element of the Global LVMH Partnership, which represents the shared pursuit of excellence in an era where fashion, culture, entertainment and sport are merging like never before.
Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Louis Vuitton as Title Partner of our first race of 2025. This is a partnership between two global icons linked above all by their great passion for innovation, excellence and creativity, which makes them two extraordinary and timeless stories. The entry of Louis Vuitton not only enriches the experience of our sport, but celebrates the union between luxury, craftsmanship and the ultimate expression of motorsport. 2025 will be an epic year for Formula 1 and I am proud to start it with our passionate partners at Louis Vuitton.”
Pietro Beccari, President and CEO of Louis Vuitton, said: “I am immensely proud of this partnership between Louis Vuitton and Formula 1, driven by our shared ambition to always strive for innovation, craftsmanship and precision. The synergy between our two worlds is reflected in the savoir-faire of our ateliers and garages, in our artisans and engineers, while celebrating the extraordinary performances of world-class drivers, who embark on a journey of excellence with each race.”
