The LVMH house has chosen Japan as the destination for its next pre-fall 2025 collection, opting for Kyoto, a city rich in history and temples. The show, scheduled for April 15, will be held in the splendid setting of the To-ji temple gardens.
This sacred site, founded in 796, was one of the guardian temples that protected the entrance to the capital of the time, home to the imperial court. Famous for its iconic five-story pagoda, the temple was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. During the month of April, the surrounding gardens are adorned with cherry blossoms, creating an even more charming scene.
The choice of Kyoto is part of a calendar full of events, which also includes the presentation of the cruise 2026 collection in Rome on May 27. This traveling collection, which over the years has stopped in cities such as Athens, Seville, Mexico City and Drummond Castle, will soon have a new location in Rome that will be revealed later.
