Chiara Ferragni, a famous digital entrepreneur and influencer, has reached an agreement to resolve the disputes related to the “Pink Christmas” Christmas pandoro affair, which had brought her to the center of a judicial investigation in Milan on charges of aggravated fraud. The agreement, reached with the consumer association, provides for the reimbursement of 150 euros to each buyer who had contacted the association itself, together with a generous donation of 200 thousand euros to an organization committed to supporting and protecting women victims of violence.
In addition to direct compensation to consumers, the agreement also includes reimbursement of legal fees incurred. In exchange, the association agreed to withdraw its complaint, helping to ease relations between the parties involved. Ferragni's lawyers, in a joint statement with the association, stressed that this agreement represents an important step not only to resolve past disputes, but also to build a constructive dialogue in view of future collaborations on social issues of common interest.
As a tangible sign of her commitment, Chiara Ferragni will also participate in a national event organized as part of the project “Beyond the Silence“, dedicated to assisting victims of gender violence. In the coming days, all consumers who had reported the alleged irregularity related to the product will be contacted to receive a refund. The association, which had raised the case, expressed satisfaction with the result obtained, calling it a significant victory for consumers. It also specified that the agreement does not provide for any direct compensation to the association itself, but guarantees that the entire sum will be used exclusively for consumers and to cover legal costs.
The origin of the dispute dates back to a disputed price difference between the “Pink Christmas” pandoro, signed by Ferragni, and a traditional version of the product. The higher cost of the designer dessert had led some consumers to contact the association to obtain a refund. The resolution of the dispute represents an important turning point, but the matter is not yet completely closed. It will be up to the Milanese Prosecutor's Office, which is evaluating the developments, to decide whether to close the investigation or proceed with further legal action.
Meanwhile, Ferragni's lawyers have highlighted that their client has not only always cooperated to clarify her position, but has also made other significant donations to charities, including the hospital Queen Margherita of Turin and the association “Bambini delle Fate”. This agreement therefore represents a further step towards a complete and positive resolution of the matter.
