"Twenty-five years at the top of the sector represent a true 'primacy within a primacy', the testimony of a solid entrepreneurial vision, which is based on an organic, resilient and sustainable growth strategy to create lasting value over time. The privilege and responsibility of a private family company", comments Giovanna Vitelli, President of Azimut|Benetti Group.
The Group positions itself at the top of all categories, XNUMX 164 units under construction for a total of 5.905 meters, corresponding to 20% of the global market taken into consideration by the Global Order Book. Over the last 25 years, the Group has created innovative concepts thanks to a profound reinterpretation of onboard spaces: the Seadeck Series by Azimut, the Oasis and the Veranda Deck® by Benetti represent the most recent declinations of a contemporary lifestyle, true revolutions in the sector.
On the innovation front, which today means reducing emissions, the Group's strategy is based on the best available technologies to achieve significant results in the short term. Azimut is the only brand in the sector with a fleet made up of more than half Low Emission Yachts and to offer 4 levels of electrification (from mild to full hybrid), while Benetti offers almost the entire range in hybrid versions. In total, there are 10 hybrid megayachts currently under construction at the Benetti shipyard. Of the 13 units sold in the B. Yond series, 7 are hybrid.
Both brands have created two ranges aimed at maximum reduction of CO2 emissions: the Seadeck Series by Azimut, which achieves -40% of CO2 emissions in an average year of use and B.Yond by Benetti, which achieves -24% of CO2 emissions and -80% of NOX.
