Singapore Airlines has announced a collaboration with prestigious French champagne house, Louis Roederer, becoming the only airline to offer its passengers the exclusive Cristal 2015.
Starting from 1 December 2024, the renowned champagne will be served in A380 Suites and Boeing 777-300ER First Class cabins on flights connecting Singapore to cities such as Delhi, Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles, Paris, Shanghai, Sydney and Tokyo.
Frédéric Rouzaud, CEO of Louis Roederer, described Cristal 2015 as a champagne of extraordinary elegance, characterised by intense aromas, perfect balance and a vibrant freshness, which reflects the quality of the chalky soils from which it comes. “We are honoured that Singapore Airlines has chosen our Cristal to enrich the experience of its most demanding customers,” he said Rouzaud.
Blended with 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir, Cristal 2015 was selected by a team of Singapore Airlines experts, including renowned sommelier and Master of Wine award winner Jeannie Cho Lee. “Our aim is to offer customers the finest wines that complement the inflight cuisine and make every flight an unforgettable experience,” said Lee.
Yeoh Phee Teik, Singapore Airlines’ Chief Customer Experience Officer, said that this partnership reflects the airline’s commitment to excellence, ensuring that its Suites and First Class passengers experience a journey of luxury and refinement.
