Tod's launches the new capsule collection “TOD'S X”, the result of the collaboration between the creative director Matthew Tamburini and Chinese actor and singer “Xiao Zhan”, Global Brand Ambassador of the brand since 2021. This limited edition includes bags, shoes and clothing, all featuring the exclusive “TOD'S X” logo. The collection is the second partnership between the brand and Xiao Zhan, and fully expresses the Italian lifestyle and dynamic elegance of the well-known brand ambassador.
“It was a natural creative process,” Tamburini said, explaining how the collection was designed with extreme attention to detail, from materials to colors, in order to capture the essence of Tod’s while introducing elements inspired by Xiao Zhan’s personal style. “We combined the heritage of the brand with a modern aesthetic, inspired by Xiao Zhan’s vision for fashion.”
Xiao Zhan commented: “It was an amazing experience to create unique products. I remember my first meeting with Tod's as a very emotional moment. The relaxed elegance and passion that characterize the brand resonates deeply with me.”
The TOD'S X capsule includes iconic pieces such as the “Di Bag Swing”, proposed in shades of brown and natural grey; the “Phone Bag” in a micro version and the “T Vintage sneakers” available in two exclusive variants: brown/white and grey/white. In addition, the collection includes a scarf in neutral tones and a shirt with a double-layer collar.
