Boucheron House celebrated its arrival in America and the opening of its first boutique in New York City with a Fashion Week Party on September 10th, at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum. During the evening the immersive experience “From Paris to New York: A Cutting-Edge Journey Since 1858“, a multi-day installation that illustrates the Maison’s 166-year history and its fundamental pillars: haute couture, innovation, style and French art-de-vivre.
“After eight years at the helm of Boucheron, this is a dream come true. The United States has always held a very special place in the history of our Maison. We have maintained a strong connection with this country since the founding of Boucheron in 1858. Our clientele over the years has included some of the greatest American families, as well as Hollywood movie stars. We are already present at cultural events in America with celebrities, including the Golden Globes, the Oscars and the Met Gala. We now want to consolidate our presence in the United States and introduce Americans to the world of Boucheron,” he commented. Hélène Poulit-Duquesne, CEO of Boucheron.
With the opening in New York, Boucheron reaches 97 stores worldwide and has other openings planned in America: in Las Vegas by the end of the year and in Los Angeles and Miami in 2025.
The opening of the new New York flagship coincides with the presentation of 'Or Bleu', the new 'Carte Blanche' high jewellery collection, and the world premiere in the United States of the maison's latest jewellery innovation, 'Quatre 5D Memory'.
