Arrow Global has started the redevelopment of a resort in Sicily, located in the “Baroque Triangle”. After the acquisition of a single-name loan guaranteed by the resort, the company has undertaken a strategy of repositioning the asset, directly involving the Mangia's Group.
The project is part of a growth plan in the hotel sector by the Arrow Global group, aimed at creating a Mediterranean hospitality platform.
The real estate complex is located in Sicily in the province of Ragusa, directly on the sea and surrounded by over 96 hectares of greenery and natural dunes, adjacent to the most suggestive historical and naturalistic sites and food and wine itineraries of Sicily.
Through the renovation, the resort, which includes a typical Sicilian village and a hotel with a total of about 600 rooms, will reach the standard 5 stars, with an offer that meets the needs of national and international tourism. In particular, the project includes the creation of themed restaurants, beach clubs, the so-called waterways (pools and paths dedicated to body care), the enhancement of existing sports facilities and the creation of new ones.
Donato Piscuoglio, head of real estate Arrow Global Italy, said: “We are excited to contribute to the redevelopment of the Resort, which aims to be a reference in the tourist offer, not only at a regional level, but in the entire Mediterranean. The project fits perfectly with the needs of growth in hospitality that concerns all of Italy and will bring significant benefits to the entire local community, with a special focus on the conservation of the naturalistic context and the historical and cultural heritage”.
