Evo R4+ it is the new model of the R line born from the desire to enhance the closed deck of the Evo R+ which had attracted a lot of interest after its world premiere presentation at the Cannes Yachting Festival last year. This project also marks another step forward in the shipyard's path towards experimenting with new materials such asaluminum, with a view to processing that is more attentive to environmental sustainability.
The shipyard and Valerio Rivellini – who signed the exterior and interior design – have therefore collaborated to launch on the market a model characterized primarily by a combination of the great liveability of the outdoor spaces combined with the comfort of a cabin cruiser. The result is a 13 meter boat with a bold look which at the same time offers a high level of comfort and allows owners to navigate in complete comfort in different weather conditions, configuring some areas differently according to their needs thanks to the innovative modular solutions of the hard top and the stern area.
THEaluminum hard top, worked directly on site, has some removable plexiglass parts, which allow this area to be partially opened to experience it in a different way depending on needs and weather conditions. This innovative solution therefore offers the advantages of two types of boats: once part of the hard top has been removed, you have the perception of being on board an open boat, in total connection with the surrounding environment, but always with the possibility to vary your scenario quickly and easily.
The innovations of this hard top do not end here: in the bow area it has a spoiler for natural ventilation, while the ceiling is covered in Alcantara panels, which give this area a hybrid appearance between exterior and interior. The shipyard has also studied a particular LED lighting system which makes this space particularly enjoyable and evocative in the darkest hours.
Finally, on top of the hard top, some design supports allow you to accommodate a radar and other instruments increasingly requested by the market even on yachts of this size.
In the beach area, the totally custom multifunctional stern platform gives an additional meter to the boat, when open, and offers the possibility of using the boat in different ways. This tender lift transformer was born from the collaboration between the Blu Emme shipyard, the designer Valerio Rivellini and Besenzoni. The o'sExcellent mechanical characteristics and movements allow the platform to lower entirely below the water level, about 80 centimetres, making it easier to enter and exit the sea from any point on the stern, as well as to extend completely to allow descent, even on high piers, in total safety and comfort. Its exceptional width allows it to be used as a ladder to disembark even if you decide to keep a tender or a jet ski on the platform, without having to remove them. An island sunbathing sofa stands out in the center of the beach area, accompanied by a multifunction sliding dining table.
The beach area and cockpit are therefore designed so that they can easily transform to accommodate the different needs of guests depending on the time of day: from a large sun lounge to a dining area. Once again the Mercuri brothers' shipyard has succeeded in its aim of combining the advantages of multiple types of boats - walkaround and cabin cruiser - and offering a highly innovative product, ideal for those families of owners who want to experience the boat all the time. year and are looking for a compromise between comfort and sportiness.
Like the other examples of the R line, this fast day cruiser also features the innovation that has made the Evo Yachts models famous all over the world: the beach area, at the touch of a digital control, changes completely thanks to the side walls " XTension” which open hydraulically in less than 30 seconds, increasing the usable space by 40% and thus transforming the cockpit into a 25 mXNUMX pieds dans l'eau terrace that can be configured as desired.
The interiors below deck, precious, functional and always customizable, provide comfortable environments, characterized once again by transformability. A door opens onto the designer plexiglass staircase, which can be illuminated and has large non-slip steps, and leads to a double cabin. Followed by a bathroom and, towards the bow, a large dinette with a large kitchen cabinet that can accommodate various appliances and a foldaway table that allows you to create another double bed while a mirror integrates a TV.
The spaces are therefore very large, thanks also to the compactness of the Volvo IPS engines and a layout designed with great care and ergonomics.
The engines are two Volvo Penta IPS 650s with 535 horsepower each, for a maximum speed of 34 knots and a range of approximately 300 nautical miles.
