“Reshaping matter. Rematerialising the form", an operation that takes place in the Oasi Zegna where the Zegna autumn winter 2024 collection designed by Alessandro Sartori comes to life. Which responds to a watchword, a common thread and a mantra: "Effortless".
“As a physical place and way of thinking, the Oasi Zegna, the center of our world, is a real laboratory – explains the stylist – a place where we can explore new materials, develop new shapes, devise clothing solutions suited to the present. Here we experiment with natural fibers and colors, decoding functions and recoding lines to create an open system of elements that frees personal interpretation. We do this in the constant search for beauty and excellence, with a responsible commitment to the environment, following a healthy idea of fashion as transformation: of fabrics, colors, silhouettes".
Among the materials, cashmere confirms itself as king, a champion of versatility and traceability (at the entrance to the MiCo location there is a sign: «We are committed to certifying the fibers of the Cashmere Oasis with 100% traceability starting from 2024» ). The fabrics are to be seen and touched: shetland/cashmere multi mélange, pure cashmere beaver or sponge, washed cloth, inlaid or even in a 3D workwear version, plongé leather lined with cashmere, raw denim.
Accessories complete the looks: long gloves, bridgeless glasses, rounded toe boots with tone-on-tone rubber soles, the new Triple Stitch Monte, folders and bags with a clean design.
