The story becomes interactive and sensorial thanks to the new olfactory experience proposed by forof, space used for the meeting between contemporary art e archeology inaugurated a Rome da Giovanna Caruso Fendi in 2022.
Until the 15 July, in fact, visitors will be able to discover theForof essence, a perfume capable of evoking theancient Rome and one of its most significant moments, the liberation of the slaves of the Basilica Ulpia.
It was Giovanna Caruso Fendi alongside Laura Bosetti Tonatto, one of the leading authorities in the industry, to define the fragrance, an emblem of freedom and identity according to their creative vision.
“Nothing is more memorable than a smell: sensory information is capable of resisting time like no other and affecting our unconscious”, explains the entrepreneur. “The inspiration of the Forof Essenza project comes from the will of reproduce the olfactory memory of a place, to celebrate the value of Freedom, to regenerate archeology with contemporary art".

“These fragrances are not accidental,” explains Bosetti Tonatto. "Saffron and incense, in fact, were used to mitigate the strong smells of the Colosseum and its arena, where the slaves fought".
