A few months after his untimely death, the latest capsule collection of Virgil Abloh for Louis Vuitton debuted in New York.
Entitled "Daybreak", the collection Pre-case 2022 includes a relaxed mix of ready-to-wear clothing and accessories for men. From mohair sweaters with the pattern LV to striped dresses. To highlight the shades of the capsule, the store features teal and pastel yellow shaded walls. The space is filled with custom model mannequins, known as the muses of Abloh. As for accessories, the store features multiple shelves and designated areas displaying the deceased designer's signature bestsellers: plush trunks, mini storage bags, backpacks, colorful sneakers LV and more.
The creative CEO wanted to interpret the codes for the collection "adults”Through relaxed cuts and lightweight materials. The garments blend sport and workwear, offering bold new interpretations of the three-piece suit.

"What I do is a one generation analysis: what people buy and why they wear it," the late designer said in a statement. “This question naturally creates an equal interest in tradition as well as in the change of tradition. The capsule collection will be on sale until the beginning of June at 104 Prince Street in New York.
