La Pandolfini auction house and Department of Modern and Contemporary Art renew the appointment with the timed auction that will take place exclusively online, on the site pandolfini.it, from 15 to February 23 2022.
The historical artistic itinerary in the program includes the beginning of the twentieth century, traces the whole of the twentieth century and finally ends with 200 works by Italian artists of the contemporary era, such as Mario Sironi, Piero Marussig, Corrado Cagli, Massimo Campigli, Atanasio Soldati, as well as international artists such as Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Attilio Salemme and Man Ray.
There is no shortage of paintings, drawings and sculptures, including by other important names in the Italian panorama such as Gino Marotta, Sandro Sanna, Mario Schifano, Enrico Baj and Tano Fest.
Works by some of the most significant interpreters of contemporary overseas trends will also be presented, such as Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons and Robert Indiana.
A space will then be dedicated to graphic part, where it will be possible to admire works of enormous value by universally known artists including Sebastian Matta, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Afro and Sandro Chia.
It should be emphasized that the auction includes a collection of works by national artists from a famous Venetian collection that is absolutely unpublished.
