Rolex finally unveiled the new and anticipated 2020 models.
A wait rewarded by the fact that the most important of the crown house's novelties concerns the Oyster Perpetual Submariner, a symbolic model of the Geneva-based company that has become the most famous sports watch in the world. In fact, Submariner was the first watch to mount a case capable of withstanding up to 100 meters of depth. The aesthetic side should not be forgotten, an equally important aspect that made this model a statu symbol.
Four versions were introduced in the 2020 edition, all with a 41 mm diameter case waterproof up to 300 meters and with a slightly revised Oyster bracelet. Of these, the first is a steel Submariner featuring a new automatic movement made by Rolex itself, the caliber 3230, as well as the iconic rotating bezel with a black Cerachrom ceramic disc. The other three are Submariner Dates that host, for the first time in this collection, the recent caliber 3235: the bezel is always in Cerachrom but in blue on the possible combinations of white and yellow gold, while it is green on the steel one.
In addition to the Submariner, the Datejust is also renewed, in fact a new model in white gold and diamonds of 31 mm in diameter with aubergin-colored dial has been introduced. While two versions of 41 mm in diameter and five with a 36 mm diameter case and lacquered dial have been launched of the Oyster Perpetual version, all versions are equipped with the new caliber 3230.
Rolex looks to the future and renews itself by always focusing on the combination of quality and innovation
